- Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) when they enter, and who were not on the Solaura email list before they first completed the Solaura style profile. Employees and contractors of Solaura and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible.
- Entry period. The giveaway starts October 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time and ends October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the “Closing Date”). Solaura’s clock is the official clock.
- How to enter. Complete the Solaura style profile at solaura4u.com and enter your email during the entry period. You earn 1 entry and receive your personal invite link. Each Qualifying Referral who completes the style profile through your link during the entry period earns you 1 more entry. Limit 5 entries per person in total, no matter how many friends you refer. Eligible people who completed it (when it was called the quiz) and entered their email before the October 20 update also receive the sign-up entry. Using more than one email address does not add entries and may void all of your entries.
- Qualifying Referrals. A referral counts only if the friend (a) was not already on the Solaura email list, (b) uses a real email address they own, (c) is eligible under section 2, and (d) completes the style profile and enters their email through your link during the entry period. Referring yourself, using fake, duplicate or temporary email addresses, or using bots or scripts does not count and may void all of your entries. Friends take part on their own; never sign anyone up without their permission.
- Prize. One (1) winner receives one Solaura Starter Set: one Solaura cold-air diffuser and one 100 mL bottle of fragrance oil in the winner’s choice of available scent. Approximate retail value: $119.00. Shipping to an address in the 50 United States or DC is free; APO, FPO and DPO addresses can’t be shipped to because the diffuser contains a lithium battery. No cash alternative or transfer. If the prize becomes unavailable, Solaura may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize includes the diffuser’s standard limited warranty. The winner is responsible for any taxes.
- Drawing and odds. Solaura will select one winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or before October 29, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Winner notification. The winner will be notified by email from hello@solaura4u.com within 2 days of the drawing and must reply within 72 hours with their full name and US shipping address. If the winner doesn’t reply in time, can’t be reached or is found ineligible, the prize is forfeited and Solaura may draw an alternate winner.
- Verification. Solaura may verify any entry or referral. Solaura may disqualify anyone it reasonably believes is tampering with the giveaway, entering fraudulently or breaking these rules.
- Privacy. Information you provide is handled under the Solaura Privacy Policy. Entering your email means you agree to receive emails from Solaura, and you can unsubscribe any time. Unsubscribing does not remove entries you have already earned.
- Publicity. With the winner’s permission only, Solaura may share the winner’s first name and state.
- Platforms. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta. By entering, you release Instagram, Facebook and Meta from any liability related to it.
- General conditions. If the giveaway can’t run as planned because of tampering, technical failure or anything outside Solaura’s control, Solaura may cancel or modify it and draw a winner from eligible entries received before the problem. By entering, you agree to these rules and to Solaura’s decisions, which are final. To the extent the law allows, Solaura is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries or emails, or for technical problems.
- Governing law. These rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be resolved individually, without class action, in the courts of Henrico County, Virginia.
- Winner’s name. To get the winner’s first name and state, email hello@solaura4u.com with the subject “Giveaway winner” within 60 days after the drawing.

Information We Collect
When you visit solaura4u.com or place an order, we collect:
• Contact information: name, email address, mailing address, phone number
• Payment information: processed securely through Shopify Payments or third-party processors (we never see or store your full card number)
• Order history: products ordered, shipping address, order date and amount
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on site, collected via cookies and analytics tools
• Marketing preferences: whether you’ve subscribed to our emails and how you engage with them
• Preferences you share: your answers to our quizzes, such as the scents you like and details you choose to share about your home (for example, whether you have pets or children), plus the scent or set we recommend

Who We Share Information With
We share limited information only with the companies that help us run our store:
• Shopify: ecommerce platform and payment processing
• Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS): for delivery
• Klaviyo and Shopify Email: to send order and shipping emails and, if you've subscribed, marketing emails. They receive your contact details, order history, quiz answers, and how you interact with our emails and website.
• Judge.me: to collect and display product reviews. If you leave a review, the name you choose, your rating, your review and any photos are shown publicly on our site.
• Smile.io: to run Solaura Rewards, our points and referral program. They receive your name, contact details, order history and rewards activity so they can track your points and send referral rewards.
• Advertising and analytics partners (Meta and Google): our site shares browsing activity, device and cookie identifiers and, when you sign up or buy, hashed (scrambled) contact details such as your email address, with these partners so they can measure and show ads. When you finish one of our quizzes, they also receive the scent or set you matched with, but never your individual answers. Under some state laws this counts as "sharing" personal information, and you can opt out at any time.
We do not sell your personal information for money. See the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" section below for how to opt out of ad sharing.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, analyze site traffic, and support advertising. Our advertising partners may also use cookies to show you Solaura ads on other sites and apps. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality, and you can opt out of ad sharing as described below.
Email tracking: our emails include a small image and tracked links that tell us when an email is opened and which links are clicked. We use this to see how our emails perform and to improve them. To limit it, turn off automatic image loading in your email app, or unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Browser privacy signals: we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of ad sharing, and we honor it automatically. There is no common standard for the older "Do Not Track" browser setting, so our site does not respond to it.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy and to comply with legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for tax and accounting records).

Children’s Privacy
Solaura is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure payment processing, and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

• Preferences (your quiz answers, including details you choose to share about your home)
• Inferences (the scent or set our quizzes recommend for you)
Selling and Sharing
Solaura does not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited identifiers and browsing data with advertising partners (Meta and Google) for targeted advertising (plus the scent or set you matched with, if you take one of our quizzes), which California law calls "sharing." You can opt out at any time with the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, by emailing hello@solaura4u.com, or, once our store opens, on our Do Not Sell or Share page. We also share information with service providers (Shopify, shipping carriers, Klaviyo, Judge.me and Smile.io) only as needed to run our store and deliver your orders.
How to Exercise Your California Rights
To exercise any of your California privacy rights, you can:

• Include your name and order number (if applicable) so we can verify your identity
• Specify which right you are exercising
We will respond to your request within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension if needed.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. We will require verification of the agent’s authority and your identity before fulfilling the request.
Shine the Light Law
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the “Shine the Light” law) entitles California residents to request a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. To make such a request, email hello@solaura4u.com.

Our Commitment
Solaura does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do not rent, lease, or trade your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing use.
What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean Under CPRA
Under California law, "sale" includes more than exchanging data for money, and "sharing" means giving data to companies for targeted advertising. Solaura uses advertising tools (Meta Pixel and Google) that share certain information, such as cookie and device identifiers, the pages you view and, when you sign up or buy, hashed (scrambled) contact details, with those companies for advertising. If you take one of our quizzes, we also share the scent or set you matched with, but never your individual answers. This counts as "sharing," and you have the right to opt out.
How to Opt Out
To opt out of any sharing of your personal information:

Solaura never sells your information for money. If you take one of our quizzes, they also get the scent or set you matched with, never your individual answers. State privacy laws call this “sharing,” and you can opt out at any time.

Opting out never affects your discount code, your orders or our customer service. You can also control how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under “Your activity off Meta technologies.”
